I´ve been using MFD for one month now. Prior to using your service, I spent two weeks tracking my food consumption using an Excel spreadsheet and a food nutrition book. I was excited when I found MFD. Having attempted to track my food consumption by myself, I had a pretty good idea of what I wished a service like this would do. I found all my wishes answered in MFD. I´m really impressed with this service. At first I was a little skeptical about it because there are so many companies out there taking advantage of people who are looking to lose weight. I just had a lovely afternoon snack at my desk at work: a cup of vegetable chowder with shredded parmesan on top, and some fat-free vanilla yogurt with blackberries.  Delicious, full of nutrients, and only 230 calories!

In the past I probably would have gotten hungry, realized I had nothing with me to eat and no time to go out and get anything, and bought a candy bar from the vending machine ... which would be full of sugar and bad fats and at least 300 calories!

I've been doing this MFD thing for a couple of weeks now and I feel so in control of food for once in my life. I can actually see what is good for me and what is bad. You basically know anyway, but it has surprised me how much sodium is in some stuff. I've been able to even out my calorie intake and lower my fat intake. It's been great! I just weighed and measured myself (which I dreaded doing)and I've lost a couple of pounds and lost a couple of inches. I was so geeked! I would love to start exercising more, but with three small kids that sometimes proves difficult. I've found that working small amounts of exercise in here and there has helped. MFD has actually motivated me to eat better because I want to see all those smiley faces on the Daily Report every day. This thing is WONDERFUL!

"Daily recording has helped me very much ~ it is an education really. I couldn't believe how much saturated fat I was eating when I first started to record everything. I cut way back on the saturated fat and sugar and I noticed I'm losing weight! If you record, you learn about yourself, it's that easy and I never knew it. I would record on paper in the past but it was so time consuming I didn't stick with it, plus I didn't know how much fat intake I had because I was only recording calories - MFD simplifies recording everything because you see the whole picture, not just calories. I am working on lowering my salt intake now that saturated fat is under control!"
