Food Tracking |

Tracking Carbs or Net Carbs |
|
If you are more interested in tracking carbs than calories, you can set carbs or net carbs as your primary nutrient. To do this, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the Analysis page
- Select the customize link near the "weight loss zone" information under the date. [Note: If you have already changed your primary nutrient, click the "edit" link.]
- In the target another nutrient section, choose your nutrient and click the go button.
- Set your goal range and then click the save button.
Carbs will now appear at the top of the Analysis page and in the Food section. |
|
Sharing Food & Recipe Data |
|
You can share the recipes and foods you have created with another member by following these steps:
- Log in to your account.
- Click the menu icon in the top right.
- Choose My Data.
- Select Share Data.
- Enter the username or the email address of the person you would like to link accounts.
Once the other person provides permission to share data, you will be able to search for the foods and recipes created by each other. This feature can be a major timesaver if you fix a lot of homemade meals. |
|
Kidney Health Diet |
|
According to the National Institutes of Health, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients should monitor the following nutrients:
✅ Sodium ✅ Potassium ✅ Protein ✅ Saturated fat ✅ Alcohol ❌ Phosphorus
We track the nutrients with green checkmarks✅.
Since phosphorus is not required on Nutrition Facts labels, the data simply isn't available for most foods. If the FDA begins requiring phosphorus on food packaging, we will add the feature as soon as we can collect the data.
To learn more about phosphorus, please see the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) publication linked below:
